Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. Next Sunday February 7th is guess what? Super Bowl Sunday, the time when most everyone in our culture is watching football. But not everyone. Instead of trying to pull off a Gathering we decided years ago to encourage everyone to connect in some way with friends, neighbors, work mates in order to build relationships with “not yet believers.â€Â So we say: throw a Super Bowl party, get invited to one or get some people together for a dinner.
So no Gathering BUT there was a group of folks last year who asked if someone at RGC could organize a small gathering for song and prayer for those who don’t like football or football parties. SO – anyone interested in organizing something in the Mosaic?? Let me know…
